COMPANY CONTEXT
CED Tunisia is a new and dynamic company which has recently joined and reinforced the CED Group ecosystem. CED Group is a 1,500 people group, which adds value to its clients across Europe in the field of claim management, being in claims notification/assistance, claims management, loss adjustment or repair in kind.
CED Tunisia has been created to turbocharge the growth of CED Group. It will consist of a team of IT talent to accelerate our IT change/development capability and an Operations team to support our various European offices and drive operational excellence.
OBJECTIVES
We are looking for a seasoned Operations Director, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, who will be able to set up and run the Operations team. Our ambition is to build a 25+ person team. In addition to any other duties which may have already been assigned to the Employee and instructions given by the Board or Company.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong background in leading administrative teams with team size of 25+ people, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Entrepreneurial track record, with experience in building a team from scratch, including talent acquisition.
- Leadership/drive of business process improvement initiatives, leading to sizeable benefits in terms of efficiency and/or quality of service.
- Great people management, making sure that the team delivers on Service Level Agreements, while maintaining a great team spirit, which is critical for the retention of staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
- Implements and communicates the strategic plans of the Group.
- Act as professional adviser to the Board with respect to all aspects of the Company’s activities.
Planning and operations management
- Create a business plan each year for the Company, in line with the Group’s strategic plans.
- Supervise and control the day-to-day operations of the Company.
- Prepare annual budget and accounts
- Ensures any legal or tax requirements or regulations are met.
Human resources
- Lead the recruitment to build up the Operations team and supervise the staffing of employees
- Create and ensure a positive, healthy and safe working environment
- Monitor and report on the performance of the employees of the Company, providing coaching and taking disciplinary actions where necessary
Exigences de l'emploi
REQUIREMENTS
- Fluent command of English.
- Mastering other European language (French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian) is an additional asset.
- Experience using office programs and specialist IT systems.
- University degree.
