General Position Summary

We are currently seeking a talented and professional Market Research & Analysis Specialist who should be able to conduct research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, or gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign. May gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Getting Information— Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
  • Analyzing Data or Information— Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts
  • Interpreting the Meaning of Information for Others— Translating or explaining what information means and how it can be used
  • Processing Information— Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data
  • Interacting With Computers — Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information
  • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text
  • Prepare research reports
  • Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand
  • Conduct research on consumer opinions and marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other professionals
  • Measure and assess customer and employee satisfaction
  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data.

Competencies, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance , Statistic , Accountant or a relevant field
  • A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a similar role

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical Thinking— Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Reading Comprehension— Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Analytical or scientific software— IBM SPSS Statistics
  • Customer relationship management CRM software— Blackbaud The Raiser’s Edge; Insightful Corporation Confirmit; Oracle Eloqua; Salesforce software

  • Sales and Marketing— Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Mathematics— Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications

Success Factors

Market Research & Analysis Specialist must be willing to travel regularly to MZIA offices and project sites.

Living Conditions / Environmental Conditions

Market Research & Analysis Specialist is based in Tunis and it requires traveling by flight or vehicle to Field offices in Tunisia or Libya.
