Essential Job Responsibilities
- Lead Trade Marketing Strategy development to attain defined business objectives throughout product categories focusing targeted markets.
- Head responsibility to develop, execute and performance of programs created to enhance presence plus ultimate take-away. Contribute to company’s goals plus objectives and enhance market share and sales performance.
- Lead retail channel’s trade marketing strategy development to accomplish defined business objectives throughout product categories.
- Head responsibility to manage and monitor Trade Marketing Investments as well as initiate execution.
- Drive Company’s vision “Best in Class” at the Point of Sale (POS)
- Maximize off take on company brands through developing best in class Point of Sale Material (POSM) with Trade Marketing team, Brand Managers & Sales Team.
- Prepare trade promotion plans with main customers.
- Coordinate communication of price, product and pack changes.
- Establish channel strategies along with execute associated plans.
- Prepare trade promotional plan in designated channels with crucial customers.
- Provide marketing assistance to sales team through answering clients and product inquiries.
- Align finance on promotional cost by promotion & all related charges. Work closely with Finance to validate all promotions for future planning and efficient achievements.
- Pre & post promotions evaluation through: estimated ROI, IMS figures, Country Development Managers & market feedback as well as market data readings when applicable.
- Consult with other functions internally (Country Development Managers, Supply Chain, Finance) as well as externally (Agencies, Key Accounts & Shoppers) as necessary to gain information and insights, as well as achieve results that are aligned with company and functional objectives.
- Align any Trade Marketing activity, point of sale and value add items to ensure best in class quality and cost effectiveness with internal/external designers and suppliers. Where applicable, coordination of legal requirements for consumer or trade promotions.
- Utilizing planogram software to develop effective solutions for key accounts / working with all assets available and developing new programs when needed including in-store merchandisers
- Identify category plans including range and merchandise proposals
- Development and execution of trade / consumer promotions including pricing, sales estimates, operations liaison and POS development

Competencies, Knowledge and Experience
- Undergraduate degree with minimum5 years’ experience in a Trade Marketing/retail position
- Experience in a relevant industry preferable household goods, fast-moving consumer-goods (FMCG) ..ect
- Analytical – ability to analyze large amounts of data
- Top rate commercial acumen
- Strong knowledge of Target Area retailers
- Category Management Skills
- Strong range management: Harmonization and rationalization
- Experience analyzing and identifying trends to plan against results
- Prior experience with complex project management tasks
- expertise in marketing programme development for retail outlets
- showroom, trade marketing, or tiered distribution experience
- proven project management skills
- Proficient in the use of computer applications and systems
- Fluency in both verbal and written English, French and Arabic is essential.
