About the team:
FIS’ Cleared Derivatives solution reimagines the post-trade middle and back office.
This next-generation offering has been designed to support both middle- and back-office functions across OTC-cleared and exchange-traded derivatives. It is a single, unified solution that covers all post-trade processing requirements, including trade clearing, reconciliations, integration services, reporting services, position management, cash and collateral management and margin calculations.
What you will be doing:
As a member of the Integration Hub Scrum team, you will be involved at every phase of the development lifecycle, from requirements through release. This would mean reviewing the requirements to provide early exposure to build test cases from, designs (with an emphasis on the testability and correlating design decisions with requirements), documentation, code and tests, and released packages of material.
You will be responsible for:
AS a QA specialist of the integration Hub scrum team you will be responsible for:
- Understanding, implementing, and updating the Agile Test Strategy
- Actively collaborating with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness
- Working with Product Owners to define Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done.
- Measuring and reporting test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions
- Write acceptance criteria and test scenario based on requirement.
- Ensuring proper use of testing tools
- Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data
- Writing automated scripts and Execute test scenarios
- Monitoring the test execution in CI
- Reporting automated tests failures and working with the team to fix them
- Running and maintaining the automated regression test suites
- Reporting defects and working with the team to resolve them
- Coaching other team members in relevant aspects of testing
- Ensuring the appropriate testing tasks are scheduled during sprint planning
- Participating proactively in daily standup meetings, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, suggesting and implementing improvements
- Writing acceptance criteria and test scenario based on specifications
- Identifying, logging, tracking and resolution of software bugs
- Implementing automated tests using the test automation tool (Testing Tool API, TestNg framework, Groovy language)
- Ensuring the quality of all deliveries
- Promoting a culture of excellence, quality, and professionalism using testing best practices such as automation and documentation of test scenarios
What you will bring:
- Functional knowledge in finance ideally in middle and back office for derivative product processing
- Test automation experience, preferably using tool such as TestNG, Selenium or similar
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess both an eye for detail, but also be pragmatic
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English & French (spoken & written)
- Engineering Diploma or University post-graduate degree in Economics
