Extech Cloud are a leading IT solutions and service specialist providing IT support predominantly medium sized businesses in the UK. In order to support the next phase of rapid growth we have a requirement for 3rd line IT Engineer who will provide the highest level of remote and on-site problem solving. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a helpdesk support role looking for a new challenge and looking to develop their skills further.

Knowledge and experience in administering and troubleshooting the majority of the following products:
- Office 365
- Azure Active Directory
- Azure including Virtual servers and Intune (Highly desirable)
- SharePoint
- Exchange Hybrid with 365 (AD Connect)
- Exchange 2010/2013/2016
- Exchange Hybrid with 365
- Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10
- Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019
- Backup Solutions – StorageCraft/Acronis/Veeam
- VMWare/Hyper-V
- Active Directory and multi-site deployments
- Firewall configuration– Palo Alto/Cisco/Sophos UTM/Draytek
- VPNs – IPSEC/PPTP/SSL
- Working knowledge of DFS
- DHCP, DNS, Group Policies
- MS SQL Server administration
- Common desktop applications, Office 2010/13/16, Sage etc.
- Working knowledge of RAID performance and benefits
- Switch configuration including VLANs and routing
- VOIP.
Knowledge/experience of some or all the following is also an advantage:
• Azure Autopilot
• Understanding of SaaS, Iaas and PasS
• Working knowledge of server hardware, more specifically HP Proliant Hardware
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and packet analysis
