Overview of Role:  

The Outbound Sales Account Manager will have responsibility for growing revenue and developing relationships with a band of existing and active distributor accounts.  Many of these customers will have significant revenue potential.  Your customer list will also include inactive accounts (i.e. distributors who have not ordered for 12 months or more).

What you will do: (Including but not limited to)

 ·       Revenue 

o   Make outbound customer calls to promote Goldstar’s products and services.

o   Grow revenue with your assigned database of accounts (soft-selling), achieving assigned sales targets and outcomes within established time lines

o   re-activate inactive customer accounts using tools such as virtuals, spec samples, self-promotion samples, special offers etc.

 ·       Build Relationships

o   Be the main contact for all assigned accounts, responsible for relationship development with those accounts (many accounts have multiple buyers)

o   Develop and maintain an up-to-date salesforce list of contacts within each account

 ·       Responsible for all Pre-sales activity

o   Prepare detailed quotations, speculative visuals, digital personalised catalogues and pre-production samples using Goldstar’s Salesforce CRM tool where possible

o   Use product knowledge to showcase Goldstar solutions and capabilities

o   Consult with clients regarding their needs and specific briefs, developing a detailed understanding  of (1) who customer is and (2) uncovering all the buyers within each account

 ·       Provide Proactive Account Management

o   Manage and resolve client and order issues

o   Apply follow up strategies on all quotations and enquiries

o   May chase any Repeat (anniversary) orders and business

o   Gain customer feedback on service, and recommend improvements

 ·       Product Knowledge

o   Become a product and service expert in all facets of Goldstar’s offer

o   Keep up with industry trends and the competitive landscape – register for email updates on industry newsletters for example

 ·       Teamwork, personal and business improvement

o   Contribute ideas and feedback at weekly meetings

o   Identify opportunities for business growth

o   Take full responsibility for managing time and daily activities

o   Actively participate in all training and development activities

·       Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and goals by performing all of the above to the highest standard

·       Any other duties or activities as directed

·       Occasional European travel for Trade Shows may be required

·       Fluent French and English essential

Exigences de l'emploi

What we need from you:

Previous experience

·       Previous experience working with promotional merchandise distributors, and a keen understanding of the promotional distributor business is a significant benefit

·       2-3+ years of proven sales success is a distinct advantage

·       Fluent written and spoken French

·       Self- motivated and able to work in a self-directed entrepreneurial environment
