In order to support their MENAT Region Legal Department (11 countries), Our client, a multinational company, is currently looking to hire an In-house lawyer.
Essential Responsibilities:
He/she will be in charge of the following topics:
- Ensure that our client’s entities in the MENAT regions comply with the group’s policies and procedures as well as local legislation.
- Review and negotiate different types of commercial contracts (all type of supplier contracts, subcontracts, client contracts, IT contracts, lease contracts, inter-company agreements, …).
- Implement various tasks related to the corporate secretariat for all subsidiaries of Group within the MENAT region.
- Support the Group in the implementation of various actions aiming to be compliant in terms of Data Protection for MENAT region and if necessary on global level legal.
- Provide legal advice on any issue in relation to the above or to any other legal domain regarding the MENAT region.
- legal advising on potential litigations and handling of litigation proceedings in cooperation with external lawyers.
- Report, update, comment and review the Group’s legal tools.
Exigences de l'emploi
Education, Experience and Required Skills:
- Post-graduate in Business law with 3 to 5 years’ experience in a company as an in-house lawyer or in a law firm.
- Fluent in English and working proficiency in French and Arab.
- Prioritization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with remote teams and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Continuous improvement minded in a transformative multicultural environment.
- Business oriented problem solving as the function requires to be a real partner of the business and to interact efficiently with the all other departments of the company.
- Time management, communication and organizational skills.
