Fixed Asset and Inventory Specialist
Job Purpose:
As a Fixed Asset and Inventory Specialist with COFICAB you will be responsible for implementing assets safeguarding policies, procedures and rules; Perfoming periodic inventory count and valorization of all type of stocks in the plant; Controling the movements of company’s assets; Following up on the inventories and fixed assets write off and disposal.
Your key challenges are to:
- Implement assets safeguarding policies, procedures and rules. Follow up on related investment incentives treatments, and ensure compliance with investment incentive agreements.
- Control the movements of company’s assets from labeling creation to life end disposal. Monitor the property control system which includes assets labeling, coding and tracking database, as well as standard reports issuing as per the company policy, and coordinate with accounting the proper treatment of these movements.
- Follow up the insurance recovery process and police reports in case of assets damage or theft. Follow up assets life cycle and records related costums declarations when applicable.
- Lead periodic inventory count and valorization in the plant as well as regular reconciliation of assets record with physical assets inventory according to inventory procedure. Analyse inventory potential deviation, propose appropriate corrective actions and communicate inventory counts result reports. Participate in closing activities related to materials and products inventory and data reconciliation.
- Follow up on scrap of materials, finished goods, etc. inventory, valorisation balance and contribute to the scrap selling and destruction.
- Prepare, communicate and review Fixed Asset & Inventory KPI’s and define accordingly continuous improvement plans of processes, procedures and systems to meet the Finance department and the Company’s objectives.
Exigences de l'emploi
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration
Required Experience:
1-3 years in similar role or accounting position
Skills required to perform the job:
Accounting (principles and practices), inventury management practices and standards, entreprise asset management, insurance regulation and procedures, risk Management, ISO 55000 (preferred)
- Software Skills : MS Office Softwares ( Excel, Words, PPT, ..), ERP.
- English is a must.
