Network and Security Engineer who has a deep understanding and hands-on technical experience in network and security technologies to remotely maintains daily operation tasks to serve one of leading telecommunication companies, and make sure that end-to-end network connections (LAN/WAN) are available, reliable and secure at all times across whole corporate buildings/branches.

Requirements and Qualifications: Min 5+ years relevant in Network & Network Security.
- Thorough understanding of network technologies and related Routing & Switching protocols TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, OSP, HTTP / HTTPS, NAT, IPSEC, VPN, SNMP, TLS, SSL, VOIP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, FTP, ACL, Python, etc.
- Aware of firewall/ routers/ switches, other network equipment upgradation process.
- Good knowledge of WiFi and experience with RADIUS/ LDAP solutions.
- Familiar with packet capture analysis tools for troubleshooting.
- Familiar with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities
- Second level support to perform, and maintenance large infrastructure for Incidents/ Change Requests in an Enterprise production and non-production environment.
- Respond to incidents received by phone calls, emails, instant messages, or automated ticketing system to be contactable as ownership for supporting P1 | P2 incidents anytime, report and escalate to the next L3 Support those complex HW|OS issues which difficult to fix it, and keep following up until closure.
- Pro-active problem management based on technical and trend analysis to ensure service stability and preventative action taken where possible.
- Provide day-to-day support for different kind of Microsoft and virtualization products and carry out incidents generated by our customer’s environments, and ensure the highest level of customer services to meet prescribed SLA.
- Coordinates HW/OS installations and upgrades to ensure work is properly performed in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to identify any configuration discrepancies in the system, assess security risks, and implement solutions by adhering to security standards.
- Take part in vulnerability assessment over production servers, and apply security hot fixes.
- Proactively detect problems and conduct diagnostics to deliver quality service and infrastructure operations.
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans.
- Continuously identify and document lessons learnt, known errors, RCA, preventive actions, and operational knowledge for improved services.
- Report to manager weekly challenges and achievement.
- Manage and initiate S2S-VPN and configure VPN client connections.
- Create/ Modify Security Policies on Firewalls, and managing user’s rights and permission.
- Participation in the 24×7 on-call rotation and maintenance activities after hours and on weekends when needed.
- Uses detailed understanding of operational capabilities to support operations acceptance of new infrastructure and non-standard bids.
- Configuration of network elements and migration of services.
- Working with others IT infrastructure teams on varying complexity projects.
