As a Wall Street English Receptionist you are the face of the Center and the first representation of the premium experience that all Students, prospects and alumni encounter. Receptionists are the heart of Center communications by providing a warm and welcoming environment for Students and prospective Clients. You’ll be responsible for managing Student progress by booking their classes and interacting with staff, Students and prospective Clients both face-to-face and via telephone. You are part of an education team of Receptionists, Teachers and Personal Tutors who work with and report to the Service Manager. You all collaborate in synergy with the Sales team to provide a premium educational experience to your Students that is personalized and meets each individual’s needs. Together your aim will be to ensure Students learn effectively and reach their personal learning goals. As a Receptionist, you are a true people person who can adapt to and anticipate each Student’s needs and inspire them to succeed.

Essential duties and responsibilities Include the following:
1. Ensuring each person that walks into the center is greeted with a warm welcome
2. Managing the reception area, ensuring it is organized and tidy
3. Driving student progress through proactively booking student classes, thereby influencing sales and engaging potential clients
4. Being the ambassador for your centre: engaging students and motivating them at every occasion, and engaging potential clients to help support sales
5. Providing information and advice to both callers and walk-ins
6.Managing all bookings and changes in the most efficient way
7. Being an ambassador for in-center learning. You work primarily in Reception where you provide friendly and supportive Service and anticipate people’s needs.
Your specific duties are:
1. Receive visitors in person and on the phone in a timely and courteous manner
2. Manage commercial appointments with guidance from the Center Director
3. Manage Student progress by booking classes through various channels
4. Update the class booking board
5. Liaise with Service and Sales team members to provide feedback on Students’ concerns
6. Contribute to the local and global community of Students through WSE World and Social Media
7. Celebrate Students’ milestones and success in-center and on-line
8. Attend skills development seminars and Service and General staff meetings
