Corporate Labor Law Specialist

Job purpose: Acts as an advisor to Top Management and Corporate Legal manager on Corporate Legal on labor laws and regulations and helps them deploy their strategies. Ensures the legal review and the compliance of the HR documentation with Corporate HR policies and the relevant regulations (international/regional/local). Makes sure the HR policies are deployed in a consistent and harmonized manner in all jurisdictions where support is required.

Your Key Challenges are to:

Acts as primary point of contact with external legal advisors in labor matters with the objective of assessing and improving the quality of the legal services provided by external providers and optimizing the legal budgets allocated to labor law counsels,

Manages labor litigations, agrees on litigation strategies with external advisors, liaises with local teams on implementation of litigation strategies and enforcement of Judgements,

Formulates improvement recommendations to policies and documentation based on labor judgements,

Makes legal research and provides consultations on basic labor matters to internal clients (including Group’s Top Management, Corporate Legal and Corporate HR and relevant local teams) and liaises as coordinator with external counsels for validation of such internal reserach and consultations in accordance to local labor laws and regulations,

Performs legal review of the Corporate HR policies and ensures the localizations are perfomed in compliance with local regulations, keeps track of deviations and exceptions to the policies and makes analysis and legal risk assessments and formulates improvement proposals, establishes a dashboard to monitor the implementation of the standardization of Corporate Legal and HR strategies,

Provides legal advice on and ensures compliance with security/privacy protection laws, closely collaborates with IT and HR departments on the company’s data protection compliance program and related activities,

Complie with Corporate values, code of conducts and non disclosure agreement

Exigences de l'emploi

Required Profile

Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in law-related field  

Required Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience including an inhouse supporting labor matters 

Technical Skills: Legal analysis and research, Law and regulation awareness, Labor Law, Analytical thinking, Researching and drafting skills, Reporting skills, Risk management, Time management.

Language and Software Skills: 

MS Office Softwares ( Excel, Words, PPT, ..),

Behavioral Competencies in: Communication, Building Relationships, Self Development,Personal Effectiveness, Business skills, Leading People & Managing Performance.
