Description de l'emploi

Main responsibilities

  • Editing manuscripts prepared by project teams – this may include implementing comments from the client, senior staff, or reviewers
  • Reviewing documents generated by other editors and analysts
  • Editing, proofreading, and formatting documents; creating in-text tables and figures, tables of contents, etc.
  • Managing references and citations in word documents
  • Supporting the business development team with developing and editing proposals
  • Preparing manuscripts, posters, abstracts for publication
  • Supporting publication process
  • Conducting simple scientific literature reviews
  • Providing project status updates on a regular basis
  • Working on multiple projects and/or within multiple project teams at one time

Exigences de l'emploi

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English (mother tongue or equivalent)
  • Strong general computer literacy, e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; knowledge of EndNote will be an advantage; ability to use and create templates
  • Excellent typing skills and the ability to create and manage large electronic files and documents
  • Knowledge of medical and health economic terminology
  • Keen interest in market access and health policy will be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to develop in medical writing

Education: Bachelor’s degree in the medical sciences, journalism, or English (MS or PhD preferred)

Experience: No previous experience required
