Actually we are looking for:
piping Engineer
Responsibilities:Generally performs work, within Piping discipline, which involvesthe preparation, interpretation and review of calculations, specifications, plans,investigations, structures, systems or equipment with relatively few complexfeatures.• Supervision of discipline personnel and allocation of work.• Approval, checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation• Undertake staff appraisals of discipline staff.• Develop and enhance processes and systems for wider use in the discipline• Undertake training of less experienced engineers, including duties as a mentor.• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standardsand Procedures.• Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.• Ensure technical integrity of all discipline deliverables on the project• Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project.• Maintain the discipline of the group assigned and deal with the day-to-daymatters pertaining to personnel.• Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctlyengineered.• Maintain and develop current awareness of relevant engineering technology• Participate during key project reviews, plot plan reviews, constructability review and Design/model review meetings.• Assists in preparation of forecasts, material take offs and change orders
Exigences de l'emploi
Skills / Qualifications:Mechanical / piping Engineer Degree.8 years of experience in piping engineering, working at various levels of an engineering project starting from Basic Engineering, FEED and EPC (Greenfield / Revamp projects)Previous experience in sizing of machine componentsAdvanced user of SolidWorks and AutoCAD, experience with FEA software Previous experience with piping design, flow and thermal analysis considered an asset.
