Overview: PurDate is a growing brand selling Tunisian Date products (primarily date sugar) in the United States. PurDate is owned by its parent company
DATEible LLC a US based (Texas) holding company that also owns the manufacturing division, DATEible Tunisia, based in Nefta, Tozeur. PurDate is currently for sale on Amazon, Walmart.com, etsy.com and a few other online sales platforms.
The leadership of DATEible LLC has decided to put a growth focus on the PurDate brand. Therefore, we are looking to hire a director of Online Marketing and Online Sales. This person would be responsible for implementing the Online Marketing Strategy (as already developed in our extensive Brand Roadmap) and work closely in relationship with our Brand Ambassador. The Brand Ambassadoris tasked with safe keeping the brand identity and vision.
The Director of Marketing will create messaging and campaigns that are consistent with the brand strategy as well as developing and growing the online sales components.
This will have an Amazon.com focus but will incorporate multi-channel fulfillment.
The director will also assist with webpage updates and developments
as well as the logistics of implementing a multi-channel fulfillment strategy.
Skills needed:
Excellent written and spoken English (near native)
Experience and proven success in social media especially with experience advertising (focus on Instagram but also Facebook, twitter, and email)
Become an expert in Amazon’s “Seller Central.” It is not necessary to know this platform prior but must be willing to invest months into learning how to best use it in order to successfully run sales and marketing from it.
Be a self-starter. This person will often be working by themselves and will need to be able to keep themselves focused and delivering high quality content that meets the requirements given.
A good learner and listener. Our brand strategy is already developed. We want someone that is creative and has their own ideas but they must fit into the vision that is already laid out.
The person must follow the branding roadmap, report to the Brand Ambassador, and the Managing Director of DATEible.
Ability to work on and update our website using shopify.
Ability to stay organized and to be consistent and timely in meeting deadlines.
