Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Bulgin is widely recognised as a leading manufacturer of environmentally sealed connectors and components. With over 95 years of experience in the industry, Bulgin continues to innovate, developing products and services to cater for its global customer base across a variety of markets. Due to an exciting phase of growth we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our busy Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the definition of manufacturing standards
- Machinery commissioning
- Supports the definition of new manufacturing processes – including ongoing continuous improvement
- Produces prototype and pre-production product batches
- Hands on testing and development activities
- Support the setup of the departmental work areas
Qualification and experience
Whilst a formal Engineering qualification is desirable, it is not a requirement for this role. Relevant workplace experience will count more and be viewed favourably.
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Hands on experience in assembly of prototypes and subsequent testing
- Previous experience of new product introduction
- Previous experience of manufacturing processes
Desirable:
· Formal Engineering qualification
· Good level in English
