We are currently looking for a person for the position:
Place of work: Sousse- Tunisia
Main tasks:
1. Lead a team through mentoring, development, and performance management
2. Support the team through hands-on involvement on production floor focusing on overall safety and process improvements
3. Design manufacturing processes, tools, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling
4. Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control
5. Ensure all processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations
6. Manage manufacturing lead times with regards to wait, move, queue, set-up, and run.
7. Manage all cost estimating processes and ensure timely submittal of accurate estimates.
8. Lead Manufacturing Engineering continuous improvement efforts for process improvement, product quality, process quality, lead time reduction, and cost reduction
9. Initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality
10. Lead Capital Investment projects including process approval, CapEx justification, quoting, project plan development, and project implementation
11. Lead strategic analysis involving make v. buy and core competency justifications
12. Lead New Product Introduction efforts for manufacturing
13. Coordinate interface with outside VI engineering departments regarding process and product improvements and error correctio
Our expectations:
1. University Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field
2. 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
3. Proven experience in a leadership role
4. Must have superb problem solving and project management skills
5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize both daily issues and strategic projects
6. Ability to work closely with department supervision and production workers
7. Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
8. Ability to work closely with department managers and production workers
