Department: Risk Management

Education / Certifications:

–  Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economic, Business and/ or equivalent professional experience;

– TOEFL/IELTS languages test proficiency is essential;

Experience:

– At least 3 years of experience in similar position (working experience in risk assessment,..)

Required knowledge: 

–  Knowledge in Risk Analysis, good analytical skills, qualification in Operational Risk Management is a definite plus;

– Strong understanding of Business entity legal structures, risk rating, and financial statement ratio analysis;

– Ability to locate and use relevant industry analysis;

– Excellent computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, …) and experience with proprietary bank software and Microsoft Office;

– Proficiency in English (essencial), French and Arabic;

Principal Responsibilities and Deliverables of Role:

-Ensure sound implementation of ORM framework and its components (RCSA, KRI, loss data, issues monitoring, incidents registration and action plan);

-Ensure that systems, products and processes are assessed and well understood prior to their launch / implementation;

– Monitor Operational Risk Issues (Internal and External) and develop action plans to better prevent ABCT from Operational Risks;

– Review and ensure that the operational Risk database is complete, accurate, and comprehensive;

– Maintain and reinforce relationships with all banking structures by providing support, directives, and advice to facilitate adherence and compliance with ORM requirements;

– Ensure training to all staff on operational risk and raise awareness of Operational Risk matters;

– Actively participate in the set-up of Risk Management framework and contribute to all Risk Management areas whenever required.
