About the Role:
As a Software Engineer in Node.js at Esperoo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our employee management solution. Join our cross-functional team of developers to build and enhance our product, ensuring its performance, scalability, and reliability as we grow rapidly.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Frontend Engineers to brainstorm and develop new features for our rapidly growing user base.
– Take ownership of features or systems, ensuring their long-term health while improving the overall system stability.
– Provide support to our dedicated support and operations teams in resolving production issues and optimizing system performance.
– Mentor other engineers and conduct thorough code reviews to promote knowledge sharing and maintain high engineering standards.
– Drive continuous improvement by enhancing engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Requirements:
What you NEED to know:
– Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) / TypeScript.
– Minimum 3 years of strong experience with Node.js
– Working knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL Databases
In addition to the required technical skills, we are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong passion for building high-quality software solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
