Based in Sousse, Diwan Engineering Services NA SUARL together with its sister entity Diwan International Engineering GmbH are expanding their nearshore engineering services portfolio and therefore looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic junior engineer to join our young and dynamic team in the position of

Junior Design & Simulation Mechanical Engineer

Your challenging and future-oriented role:

• • You will work together with our partners to adequately capture the specific requirements of the project, develop and offer efficient and optimized solutions.
  • You will evaluate the dynamic, static, structural, and thermal-mechanical performances of mechanical assemblies.
  • You will assure the quality of the simulation model through suitable validations and verifications.
  • You will generate all required output materials, e.g. specifications, drawings, design and simulation reports, Request for quotation documents for suppliers.
  • You will be part of a creative, innovative, and international team. Moreover, you will be in close contact to external companies worldwide.
  • You embrace continuous learning and bring forward new ideas fearlessly.

The formula for your success in this role:

• • Interest in and affinity for our field of activities.
  • Solid theoretical background in applied mechanics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, system analysis and numerical methods.
  • Affinity for design activities and first experience with CAD software (openness to adapting to new software).
  • Experience with numerical simulation software FEM/CFD (Ansys, Abaqus, OpenFOAM, Salome-Meca).
  • Strong team and communication skills.
  • Excellent prioritization and results-oriented mindset.
  • Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written form, German is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in Sousse with international partners / customers.
