IBF Consulting is Looking for

Financial Officer /Accountant / Financial Controlling

Day to day bookkeeping
Provide any other support necessary in the framework of accounting and financial obligations
Closings (monthly, quarterly and annually):
Ensure that IBF accounts comply with the legal financial regulations/obligations
Analyze regularly accounts balances
Manage monthly bank, cash and supplier account reconciliations
Check exchange rates according to internal financial procedures
Provide internal/external auditors with all required documents

Reporting
Generate all accounting data for the Expenditure Reports
Assist IBF’s Chief Accountant in consolidation of accounts and in preparation of IBF’s annual accounts

Support to the Payments Team
Payment preparation
Prepare/check all necessary documents to justify payments
Monitor the position of the Bank account
Submit internal payment orders for signature, in compliance with the internal procedures (supporting documents, schedule etc.)

Invoice Payments
Process transfer payments
Control Bank Statements
Prepare weekly reports
Prepare all documents for invoices and reports justification audit and CA invoicing

Procedures
Make sure the Internal Manual of procedures is applied and alert hierarchy if in doubt
Check invoices before signature for payment
Evaluate any other supporting documents (per diem,…) before payment
Contribute to the implementation of the internal administrative and financial procedures
Knowledge and Skills required / Essential Qualifications

Education
University degree or experience equivalent, with Economic or Financial specialty
Knowledge about Belgian accounting principles

Skills/Expertise
Fluent in English and French; other languages are an asset
Good planning and organization skills
Attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Mathematical modelling

Technical skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office software, and in particular MS Excel, and familiarity with relevant computer software.
Knowledge of accounting software Adfinity is an asset.
