Job Description
- Run the day to day operations of the hackerspace smoothly and effectively
- Manage the hackerspace capacity by coordinating with the sales and operations team
- Serve members through instruction, providing clear processes and clean and safe work environments.
- Work with Marketing to organise events such as workshops, info sessions, demo days, job fairs etc
- Manage student and the instructor onboarding processes.
- Provide post-sales technical support for new customers.
- Create a supportive environment for learning, creativity, and creation.
- Elicit feedback from students and instructors to ensure improvement in overall experience
Qualifications
- You have a hands-on attitude and you don’t shy away from completing a whole range of operational tasks.
- Proactive, an excellent communicator and a community builder.
- Aware that he or she is the only one who represents the students and instructors at the same time. Able to organize own work effectively and to establish priorities.
- Able to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively track many projects simultaneously.
- Able to establish priorities for assignments when faced with heavy workload and deadlines.
Required education and experience
- You have gained 1 year work experience in operations or project management role, customer experience or equivalent
- Good English and French levels
