Bank ABC is reinforcing its Risk Department with the recruitment of a Data Analyst Risk Officer.
1- Principal Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Performing required CBT reports by Head Office Financial Control.
- Risk rating follow up and update on the system.
- Preparing the provision exercise for retail (monthly) and corporate (quarterly) portfolios.
- Preparing the collective provision and additional provision exercise (as per CBT rules).
- Liaising directly with owners of various systems of the bank mainly IT and Financial Control Department.
- Coordinating with financial control department to ensure figures compliance and accurate database.
- Elaboration of required reports by the external auditors.
- Developing data processing tools that automates reporting.
- Participating to elaborate ALCO & Market Risk reports and monitoring and assisting risk team in performing risk reports.
- Acting as a reliable source for providing risk information.
- Ensuring compliance with CBT and ABC Group regulations applicable to areas of responsibility (RAS thresholds, regulatory ratios, meeting deadlines of any reporting/ disclosure requirements).
2- Education & Certifications:
- Graduate’s degree (« Licence ») & certification.
- Bachelor’s degree (« Maitrise« ) or Master’s degree. Certification is a plus.
- Diploma field: Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analysis or equivalent.
3- Knowledge:
- Mastering MS Office applications notably Excel, PPT…
- Mastering power BI and data analysis tools (SQL, SAS, Python, Excel Solver, R…).
- Good knowledge of statistic and data modelling processes.
- Good knowledge of Bank systems and processes.
4- Experience:
- 2 to 3 years within the banking sector.
5- Personal Attributes:
- Good communication and writing skills in French and English.
- High analytical skills.
- Keen to details and rigorous.
