First Delivery Group : is a leading company in Transport and Logistics, in the midst of a significant technology transition. We specialize in the Last Mile Delivery. As we navigate this transition, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. 

Position Overview: 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at First Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration between different components of our software suite. Your primary responsibility will be to create, design, and execute automated tests daily within our development pipelines. We are specifically looking for a candidate who is proficient in test case design and test automation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with the software development and the functional team to understand the project requirements and identify potential risks related to the integration of different components. 

• Take ownership of selecting the appropriate automation tools and frameworks, leveraging your expertise to make informed decisions tailored to the project’s needs. 

• Design, develop, and execute automated test script, with the unique opportunity to establish the automation framework from scratch.

• Independently create effective and comprehensive test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software products. 

• Identify, report, and track software defects to ensure thorough resolution. 

• Keep up to date with the latest QA trends and technologies 

• Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews. 

 Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 

• 3+ years of experience in QA engineering with proven experience in designing and executing automated test. 

• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 

• Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. 

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of test automation, and make datadriven decisions. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities within a team-oriented environment. 

• Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React / React Native), NodeJs and web browser behavior. 

• Proficiency in Git or similar version control systems for collaborative code management. Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 

• Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks tailored to project requirements. 

• Familiarity with other automation testing tools and frameworks (ROBOT Framework/Appium/Cypress). 

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). 

• Relevant certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
