We are currently looking for.:
Production Planner
Main responsibilities:
- Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.

Schedule the supply of components to meet production requirements.
- Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.
- Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries.
- Coordinating with the production planner regarding production requirement, timelines, etc.
- Generate and communicate supplier material delivery planning and forecasts to ensure they reflect requirements and meet demands.
- Managing inventory issues, planning changes, and cancellations.
- Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production planning and take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
- Highlight potential raw materials shortfalls to Production Planner and work out contingency plan to meet all production schedules.
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to plant.
- Review raw materials safety stock setting to maintain at an optimum inventory level to achieve, avoid stock out and minimize slow moving and obsolescence.
- Minimize obsolete stock and ensure business is left with minimum liability.
- Resolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance in conjunction with members of the purchasing team.
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
- Create, maintain and release master data in SAP.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
Requirements and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Inventory Management, Logistics or a related field preferred
- 4 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or a related position.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools and ERP systems (in particular SAP).
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Should work in a team as well as independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
