Overview of Role:
We are looking for an experienced candidate in Logistics and Procurement with an analytical mind who can help us achieve the below tasks within National Pen which is a very busy environment and support all the plants we have in various locations.
We will need you to :
- Develop and implement an analytical infrastructure to support decision making in Logistics, Postage and Procurement
- Support management with detailed tactical strategy and data
- Secure up to date benchmarking and market intelligence
- Collect, translate & align data out of various sources
- Build trusted relations and network with National Pen and Cimpress logistics teams to ensure fluent and continuous knowledge transfer
- Deliver continuous improvement & innovation of logistics, postage and procurement analytics
- Support Global Procurement & Supplier Research with analytical intelligence on demand
What you will do:
- Create, maintain and update analytical reports for logistics, postage and procurement in real time, to support decision making in a constantly changing business environment
- Support management data requirements, making ad hoc reports, analysis, and queries
- Develop detailed “what if “analysis on demand
- Extract the appropriate information from external and internal rich data sources and translating to insights and recommendations
- Collect data, analyse, and provide meaningful information of the logistics and postage Evaluation of supplier proposals to identify opportunities and risks
- Link between Global Procurement and National Pen analytics teams (BU & central)
- Manage global KPI reporting
- Develop relationships with analytical sources within the supplier network (inside & outside National Pen) to constantly improve quality of data flows
- Identify new analytics services and innovations in logistics, postage and procurement for the National Pen group
- Create and systematically improve the analytics setup within Global Procurement
- Be a sparring partner for BU analytics logistics teams to improve and provide best in class reporting to monitor and manage performance, costs, and service levels
- Support all National Pen plants and other functions as “internal customers” for all their analytical requirements relative to logistics on demand
- Liaise and co-operate with Finance department to manage detailed cost control
Exigences de l'emploi
What we need from you:
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Economics or related disciplines
- At least 3 years international logistic analytics experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and SQL (or related modelling tools)
- Professional level of presentation skills to senior management and stakeholders
- Experience in a large international corporate environment with multiple Business Units, operating in multiple currencies and a decentralized management structure
- Basic legal knowledge (able to read and interpret contracts)
- Strong knowledge in E-Commerce challenges, concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong background in Last Mile and Freight strategies (B2C, B2B & Drop Shipment)
- Able to interact with a broad spectrum of experience levels, skill sets, business levels and communication methods, having the ability to influence areas that are not under his/her direct control
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, including to senior management and external partners
- Understanding the cultural differences of a global business environment
- Can build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively connect and provide / share ideas and support initiatives
- Comfortable working in a constant and fast changing environment where instructions are not always provided, requiring own thoughts and ideas and focus on achieving goals
- Fluent in English and preferably one more European languages
