A Community Development Manager is the face of Vynd, managing communications in both directions. This digital-savvy Vyndee is responsible for all communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation, among other things.
1. Content creation – You’ll be writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
2. Social media marketing – you’ll be creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other strategically relevant online Media.
3. Events and event planning – attending events (often outside of 9-6 hours) and planning meetups for our community
4. Public relations – you’ll be in charge of our PR presence by managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns
5. Customer relations – You’ll be often responsible for customer support – answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Facebook or through the platform) and managing any online feedbacks
6. Communications/marketing strategy – You’ll be creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications.
7. Follow on with freemium: you’ll be following on with local businesses on freemium that were recruited by the business development Team.
8. Recruit users: You’ll be the person in charge of spreading the word Vynd among users, social media groups (Such us on a mange pour vous, ou aller ce soir…) and in events.
9. Recruit influencers: You’ll be in charge of recruiting and targeting influencers as ambassadors and how they can bring their own followers to our community.
10. Analytics – Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives
