IT Help Desk Technician
Essential Responsibilities:
– Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
– Provide user technical assistance and perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
– Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
– Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting
– Follow-up with users to ensure issues are resolved
– Provide needed information on IT products or services-Provide feedback on processes and make recommendations on areas to improve-Suggest improvements on procedures
– Education: BTP/BTS
– Experience: Previous working experience as an IT Help Desk Technician is preferred
– Technical skills
– In-depth knowledge of computer systems and mobile devices
– Hands on experience with diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues
– Customer-oriented and patient
– Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
– Willing to learn new techniques (adaptable and open to new ideas).
Soft skills:
– Excellent communication/documentation skills
– Ability to work on multiple projects of varying styles.
– Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
– Willing to learn new techniques (adaptable and open to new ideas).
