Project Background:
The USAID TAHSEEN Project will support the Government of Tunisia (GoT) to design and develop reforms, systems, and mechanisms to enable inclusive economic growth. TAHSEEN will focus on e-Governance and Economic Reforms, including fiscal and budgetary reforms, based on international standards and best practices. The project will provide e-governance, budgeting, and more, and will encourage greater public-private dialogue. TAHSEEN will achieve results through three main objectives:
Purpose:
The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) assistant will support the MEL Director in overseeing the MEL system, with the objective of measuring the progress and accomplishments of the TAHSEEN project against established indicators and meet client requirements for reporting on indicators and other performance data.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks:
- Assist the MEL Manager in development of tools for monitoring and tracking of program activities and results
- Assist with trainings organized for the project staff, partners and beneficiaries in monitoring, performance reporting and learning
- Work on data entry and cleaning in the M&E databases
- Participate in regular field data collection and spot-check visits together with the MEL team.
- Assist with drafting learning and communications materials, such as case studies, learning briefs, and success stories
- Take other duties as requested by the MEL Manager and project management
Exigences de l'emploi
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience. Experience in monitoring & evaluation, project management, or a related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related field of study.
- Experience with baseline survey design, and analysis preferred.
- Proficiency in database management and data analysis preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with USAID projects preferred. Experience with international donor-funded projects also an advantage.
- Experience and familiarity with DAI systems and preferred procedures.
- Oral and written fluency in English. French and Arabic experience preferred.
