Crit recruits an IT specialist on behalf of its German client, a German public institution, for the establishment of the local team for its office in Tunis.
The Tunis team will work closely together with members of the team in Berlin for the implementation of a technical cooperation project in the area of public food safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical IT support for project team in Tunis and
- Installing new software and hardware components.
- Responsible for maintaining telecommunication and web systems.
- Administration of all communication devices (phones, tablets, computers, videoconference systems, SMARTboard, printer).
- Maintain inventory of internal licenses and track compliance.
- Monitor or optimize the performance, security, backup, and recovery of IT components.
- Establish procedures to ensure the readiness, quality, and accuracy of websites and online platforms, providing guidance and training to staff.
- Advise Tunisian partner institutions regarding strategic digital infrastructure development.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to office staff as needed.
Profile requested:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, with equivalent professional certification with relevant work experience, as evidenced by work
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in IT operations and database administration
Language skills:
- Bilingual in French and Tunisian Arabic
- Business fluent in English or German (comparable to level C1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
- Good communication ability, both written and verbal.
Professional experience :
- Good experience in management and customization (HTML, CSS) of websites (e.g. WordPress).·
- Experience in operation and support of office computers, laptops and small office networks.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Didactic and pedagogical skills in teaching IT skills would be an asset.
- Experience in using graphic design applications would be an asset.

Information on recruitment process

The physical interviews and the psychotechnical tests with the pre-selected candidates will take place from May 8 to May 26.
Candidates who successfully pass the first interview will be invited for an interview by the client. This interview will take place in Tunis.
