We are currently looking for an IT engineer for an EoF (End of Studies) internship.
Title: Migration of VB6 Business Layer to C# for Enhanced Efficiency and Compatibility in a Leading German Bank
Project description:
The project involves the migration of a crucial Business Layer developed in VB6 for a major German bank to the C# programming language. The objective is to seamlessly transition the existing codebase to a more modern and efficient platform, ensuring compatibility and enhancing overall system performance. The project will be conducted in several phases, focusing on identification, migration, testing, and documentation
Tasks:
- Defining and categorizing a list of business layers grouped by domain.
- Migrating layers in C#
- Outlining comprehensive testing reports
- Well-structured documentation covering the entire migration process
