Role Description

As a category manager, you will manage a group or product category. You will be in charge of merchandising, pricing, planning, and marketing of products to increase sales and profits.

NB: This is a full-time on-site role as a category manager at Foodomarket in Sfax, Tunisia.

ð You will attend an intensive training of one to two weeks.

Your daily tasks will be the following:

• Develop and put into action long-term development plans for certain product categories.
• Collaborate with the vendors team to expand product categories
• Presenting and selling the Foodomarket offer
• On-boarding the new suppliers and managing their weekly follow-up
• Offer direction and assistance to cross-functional teams comprising the sales and the account manager team, to guarantee the effective implementation of category strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• Proven experience as a category manager or similar role
• Fluency in English is required (you have to convince English-speaking sales managers or business owners)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
