Linux Engineer – Sousse

LEONI Sousse looking for a highly skilled and motivated  Linux Engineer to join our IT-HUB team to provide support for LEONI worldwide offices in different region Europe, Africa, Americas and ASIA. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

• Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure

• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools

• Able to work with other teams effectively in different locations Europe, Africa, Americas and ASIA.

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer in Configuration Management, Automation, Development, Build and Deployments

• Diagnose system performance problems by using log files, Nagios, support tools, monitoring tools to early detect changes in system responses or operation.

• Create scripts for continuous improvement for Linux applications, processes and establish automation.

• Provide excellent documentation and closure of tasks, changes, and requests

• Provides feedback on technical tasks in terms of progress and schedule

• Experience on virtualization VMware Vcenter/ESXi (VM management).

• Planning hardware refresh and maintenance where necessary

• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot backup

• Patch management of operating systems and applications.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Technical Skills

• 1+years of experience in linux (Redhat/Centos 6 & 7, Suse).

• Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systems.

• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills.

• Devops Experience with automated infrastructure management puppet.

• Experience with scripting (shell scripts, Perl, Ruby)

• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as samba, NFS, DNS, DHCP, Apache, and Tomcat.

• Knowledge Database management (Postgres, Oracle, Mysql).

• Knowledge on virtualization such as VMware vSphere ESXi/ Vcenter.

• Knowledge of Git command line tool, GitLab.

• Experience with monitoring (Nagios, SNMP, Check_mk).

• Knowledge of HPE hardware (ProLiant servers, Enclosure C7000).

• Knowledge backup solutions (Dataprotector, Veeam).

• Knowledge on storage management (3Par Storage, Netapp).
