Le Corail Suites Hotel
We are looking for an experienced and energetic Front Office Manager to join our team. Our Front Office Manager directs and controls the activities of the Front Desk and Bell teams. This position responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Le Corail Suites Hotel policies.This position reports to our Hotel General Manager.Full Time.Only Tunisian National are eligible.Responsibilities
- Manage the staff at the Front Desk and direct all activities of the reception team to ensure communications and follow-up on any problems, guest requests or special requirements.
- Interview, train and schedule the staff. Conduct Performance Evaluations and discipline staff when needed.
- Resolve customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Respond to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner.
- Coordinate arrivals, departures and billing requirements. Block rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. Review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups.
- Assure financial and credit procedures are followed. When taking a shift at the desk, follows up on credit problems. Review, rebates, and direct billings. Check cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals.
- Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests. Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Check guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assure that guest is assigned to the type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arrange for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issue correct keys to the guest. Check out guest at end of stay. Ascertain guest satisfaction, collect keys, post late charges and present bill to guest. Settle bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
- Utilize a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Qualifications And Skills
- Applicants are required to have at least three to five years experience in a Front Office Manager position
- Solid working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to emails, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet
- Ability to quickly and positively establish rapport.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Arabic, French and English. Additional language would be a plus.
