Multinational activating in the Automotive sector, based in the Sahel, to expand its teams immediately recruits:
Linux Engineer
Reporting to the Information System Director (ISD), you will be in charge of providing 2nd and 3rd level support, by managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructures. You will also install, configure, test and maintain the operating systems, application software and systems management tools.
As such, you will diagnose system performance problems by using log files, Nagios, support tools and monitoring tools in order to detect changes in system responses. You will create scripts for continuous improvement for Linux applications and you will grant excellent documentation and closure of tasks, changes and requests. Then, you will provide feedback on technical tasks in terms of progress and schedule, you will plan hardware refresh and maintenance where necessary, and you will configure, monitor and troubleshoot backup.
Exigences de l'emploi
Candidates will be Computer Engineers with more than a year experience in Linux (Redhat/Centos 6 & 7, Suse) and a proven experience in performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systems. Virtualization Vmware Vcenter/Esxi and HPE hardware (ProLiant servers, Enclosure C7000) knowledge is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in this position in aim to support worldwide teams in Europe, Africa, America and Asia.
In addition to your recognized devops experience with automated infrastructure management puppet and your strong analytical troubleshooting skills, you are rigorous and enthusiastic.
