The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design.
Responsibilities
- Building, fixing, or updating WordPress based sites
- Working with a team to create beautifully designed and functional sites for clients
- Coding custom WordPress plugins with Javascript and PHP
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards, and WordPress.
- Understanding of SQL and basic Database management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
- Must be able to speak and write English
- Experience with WordPress
- Has a solid grasp of HTML and CSS
- Has an artistic inclination
- Experience with Google Services (Recaptcha, Analytics, Adwords, Tag Manager)
- Has an understanding of DNS
- Experience launching a WordPress site
- Experience troubleshooting a site
- 2+ years’ experience in frontend development
- Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Experience building object oriented web applications in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
