Responsibilities
- Develop UI/UX mockups and prototypes, designing graphic user interface elements, like dashboards, charts, tables, and widgets.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, graphs, and tables) and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images for the products.
- Document and maintain user interface design specifications and templates, keeping our design pattern library up to date.
- Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams on understanding product and feature workflows and user requirements.
- Partake in the UI/UX related quality assurance for the assigned products
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
- Identify the right process and deliverable in the level of fidelity required for the problem at hand.
- Work in partnership with engineering teams to implement User Interface patterns and ensure visual consistency across all products and demos.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on user experience and user flow design.
- Be an advocate for customers throughout the product design and development process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in interaction design, HCI, graphic/computational design, computer science, or relevant field
- 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role
- Experience creating process flows, user flows, prototypes, highly detailed wireframes, and high fidelity mockups for early-stage ideas and complex web (SaaS) applications.
- Knowledge of low and high fidelity prototype tools (e.g., sketch and InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience using CSS/SCSS properties and HTML
- Knowledge of JavaScript & Angular
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Be creative, autonomous, and able to take initiative.
- Ability to communicate complex design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences.
- A strong online portfolio of past work experience and deliverables, demonstrating samples of your design deliverables (concepts/drawings, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes).
- Fluency in English and excellent vocabulary required (oral and written).
- Willing to work with remote team members in different time zones.
