Cost Accountant
Mission :
* Contribute to the design and development of the cost system, while working to follow the outputs of the company’s sales system to provide the necessary data for the cost system.
* Provide Heads of Departments with the cost figures necessary for them to operate their individual profit center profitably.
* Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
* Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
* Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine cost impacts.
* Analyze manufacturing costs and periodic reports comparing costs.
* Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
* Responsible for the cost accounting function including cycle count auditing and monitoring, standard cost roll process, preparation and review of the inventory, preparation and review of variances and inventory management and reconciliation.
* Ensure the inventory items and services which are bought and used in providing guests services and facilities are stored and used in the controlled manner and according to accounting principles
* Compare details of quantities, unit costs, etc., on regular purchase orders to those on authorized purchase requests
* Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
* Perform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysis
* Prepares flash reports and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts and annual Financial Plans.
* Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
* Prepare financial management reports.
* Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.
Requirements :
* License or master in Accounting or Finance
* Previous experience for at least 4 years as cost accountant, cost analyst, accountant or similar role
* Manufacturing experience is a must
