Casco Products Corporation, a global Tier One Electronics and Electro-mechanical supplier to the automotive industry is currently recruiting an experienced Buyer to support our Operations in Tunisia. In addition to the required tactical duties, the Buyer will secure cost savings for various assigned commodities and will drive continuous improvement from the suppliers to meet the key metrics of the operation for cost, quality, and delivery improvements. This person will be a member of the sourcing team and can influence supply chain strategies with key emphasis/knowledge in the plastic, metals, and electronics commodities.
Main Accountabilities / Tasks:
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of working experience, in the purchasing function / supply chain
- Automotive background of TS16949, IATF Certification requirements, PPAP, controls plans, FMEA’s, and APQP.
- Good knowledge and expertise within the plastics, metal, and electronics commodity
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in QAD ERP system a plus
- High level negotiating competence
- Can apply principles of financial analysis and capital project justification, life cost analysis, rate of return, economic profit, should-cost analysis.
