Accounts Assistant / Assistant Comptable
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accounts Assistant will provide administrative and accounting support to the Account officer in handling all the accounting tasks of the Tunis entity.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Accounts Assistant contributes to manage the accounting daily tasks and the related processes under the supervision of the account officer.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Accounting
Process petty cash request and maintain cash book up to date
Bank reconciliation
Record, file and scan all invoices and documents
Manage the fixed assets data and reconciliation with fixed assets ledger
Maintenance of debtors and creditors ledgers
Accounts payable: control and processing of supplier invoices.
Support the visa process for employees travelling abroad for customers
Support the account officer in the monthly and yearly closing and during year-end audit
Reconciliation of the intragroup data with the Holding company
Deal with the daily company’s administration activities
All other tasks entrusted by the accounts officer
HR tasks
Registration of new employees with social insurance authorities and similar
Person Specification
REQUIREMENTS:
University degree in Accounting/Finance
Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in accounting
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a change environment
Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, both spoken and written (French and English)
Good team-player
Service-oriented, flexible and discreet
