Job Title: QA Engineer
Reports to: DevOps Manager
Key interactions: R&D Department, Sales Department, MA Department
Job Purpose/Role Description:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Document test cases
- Record test progress and results
- Code automated tests
- Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
- Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution
- Maintain the help desk, offer technical support to customers and work closely with the development team to meet customer expectations
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
