Description :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure efficient operation and safety. He play a crucial role in preventing equipment downtime, reducing maintenance costs, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the maintenance of the mold park according to structured maintenance plans
- Carrying out first and second level preventive maintenance
- management of materials used
- Carry out repairs using documents relating to mold operation
- Maintaining the work environment in good order and clean
- Guarantee the proper functioning of all tools used in production
- knowledge of Arburg, Demag, Krauss machines
- very good electrical knowledge
- over mold knowledge
- Creation of the daily preventive schedule
- Ensure line curative intervention according to procedure
- Complete the intervention form
- Common tool management
- Complete the spare parts release forms
- Complete the preventive activity report
- Consolidation of file and request for curative and preventive intervention within deadlines
- Monitoring of PDCA Continuous improvement
- Participate in the daily QRQC meeting
- Ensure general maintenance of buildings
- Maintain or restore production equipment in working order
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
