We provide business and professional people with personalized pens, pencils and other promotional items to enable them to effectively advertise their businesses at an economical cost. Our business is generated by using a combination of Online Marketing, Direct Mail Marketing and Telemarketing and most customer orders are personalized from our own on-site manufacturing facility. We sell our products on 22 countries over Europe.

Overview of Role:

To operation the payroll for Tunis location and support HR function as onsite liaison for Head Office. This is a position with significant learning opportunities which demands excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment.  This role would be ideally suited to a person currently doing payroll and seeking a move into Human Resources in a global envirement. The successful candidate will report into the HR Manager based in Tunis.

What you will do:

  • Process the payroll on a monthly basis for all group staff which consists of 2 separate legal entities
  • Run payroll operations and help to make sure that the pay decision comply with the legislation
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Understand proper taxation of employer-paid benefits
  • The first point of contact for all payroll related queries
  • Calculating and processing account balance (terminations) and all social and fiscal contributions linked to salary
  • Assist in managing, monitoring and improvement of company policy relating to payroll
  • Manage Medical insurance & Social Security tasks
  • Participate in Meal vouchers order preparation and distribution
  • Prepare the administrative documents needed by the employees
  • Liaising with global and local stakeholders such as HR Colleagues, legal team, audit team etc.
  • Assist with the co-ordination of the induction program for all new hires.
  • Provide best practice advice in relation to Tunisian employment law topics          
  • Maintaining all HR Systems for Tunisian colleagues
  • Participate to office supply purchasing
  • Participation in the organization of team events
  • Championing National Pen values
  • Support employees relocation to and from Tunis
  • Support general day to day operations of the Human Resources department and any other ad hoc duties as arise. 

Exigences de l'emploi

What we need from you:

  • 2 years within a payroll role
  • Payroll qualification
  • You have good communication skills in French and advanced knowledge of the English language is a plus.
  • Very rigorous and conscientious, details oriented
  • Previous experience in monthly and annual payroll returns
  • Experience within a HR support role
  • Desirable: experience with Oracle Fusion
  • Excellent IT skills to include MS Office, in particular excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work
  • High level of communication skills both Verbal & Written
  • Ability to deal sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
