For our important Customer in Railway Industry, we are looking for « RESIDENT / CRISIS MANAGER person with experience (10 year at least) in Supplier Quality Management (PPAP, FAI, Non Conformity Management, Supplier Development, Improvement Activities, Audits).
Place of work: France with possible weekly business trip in different European Countries.
Start of Activity: January 2019
We look for freelance available for 12 months contract .
The activity consists in the management of the following activities:
- Make full problem analysis
- Define and implement and follow up Action Plan
- Be single contact between Customer Plants and supplier
- Manage action plan for internal action linked to supplier
- Multi skill action plan (Supply Chain and Quality mainly, Industrial Organisation)
Scope of activities :
– For New projects: to guarantee the Supplier Quality objectives
– For Projects on-going: to support different Customer Sites to get solution on Non Conformities / Guarantee’s issue with Supplier
– For all Projects: To cooperate with supplier in order to lead as Global Improvement Plan for the Quality Performance of Supplier
– Customer demand management
– Delivery plan report
– Capacity plan and Supplies visibility Report
– General requests :
- Reporting of activity on a weekly basis + Attend to weekly conf call with Customer Sites for follow up
- Propose and implement improvement actions in order to improve OTIF to 90%
Technical Competences / Know-how:
- Quality tools experienced (Control Plan, 8D, QRQC, 5S, PDCA, Visual management…) and Quality Wall concept
- Lean manufacturing (VSM flow of material, lay out, etc…)
- Practical Quality Industrial audits experience
- Product / Processes experience according project needs
- Management of non-conforming part in work shop level (visual defect detection, rework, etc.)
Supply chain skills (planning, procurement, production control, bottleneck management)
Languages : English (mandatory), French ( mandatory )
